Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the office like? Our office is conveniently located on the bottom floor of a
professional office complex. A Chiropractic office is located on
the upstairs level. Massages are given in a private room with low
lighting and soothing music. Who will give me my massage? Your massage will be given by a professional license therapist, who
has received proper training, in a variety of techniques. How will I feel after
the massage? Most people feel relaxed and focused after a session. Some people
experience relief from chronic aches and pains with regular
massages. Immediately after a session, you may feel relaxed or
sleepy. Time will be provided for you to dress and acclimate. After
the massage, some will experience an increase in energy and greater
productivity which can last from a few hours to a few days. Others
may feel relaxed for an extended period of time. During a massage,
toxins are removed from your tissues and into the blood stream. It
is important to drink plenty of water after your massage.
Do I need to undress? You may choose to wear undergarments, or for a full body massage
most people undress completely, it is completely up to the
individual. You are warmly draped at all times, except for the area
being worked on. Will the therapist be present when I
disrobe? The therapist will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the
table, and cover yourself with a clean sheet. What do I need to do during my
massage? Relax and make yourself comfortable. Your therapist may ask you to
adjust your position or turn over. Please feel free to change your
position anytime to make yourself more comfortable. Should I tip the therapist? Tips are greatly appreciated and graciously accepted but not
required.
